NHS Blood and Transplant recruitment campaign

Challenge

NHS Blood and Transplant approached Mobas to create a campaign to encourage recruitment of blood donors. The target audience for the campaign was to be everybody, as everybody can potentially be a blood donor.

Strategy

We had to create a campaign concept that would be broad enough to appeal to all audiences, but also be engaging enough to get people’s attention and encourage them to join up. This had to be done without focusing on any specific audience and also not excluding any potential audience.

We focused on the graphic which people associate with blood donation – the heart graphic. But we gave it a personal, human touch showing that each individual donor is important and appreciated.

Results

The creative has been very well received and is in use across all media channels. It continues to encourage more donors to sign up and will hopefully continue to help save lives.
