Novartis Animal Health UK consumer brand

Challenge

As one of Novartis Animal Health’s approved agencies, MobasMuse was approached to help launch a range of products to the consumer market following re-classification.

Strategy

As Novartis Animal Health UK had never before launched any products onto the consumer market, Mobas firstly conducted extensive market research to obtain information on consumer behaviour and identifying potential retail outlets and marketing opportunities.

Working towards a trade show launch, Mobas deployed its full range of services: strategy, brand, design, PR and digital. The launch strategy not only targeted consumers but also provided Novartis with the tools to deploy the brand internally and manage the vet channel appropriately.

Mobas produced the creative that would form the basis of the new brand, including the logo, theme, imagery and typography. Three creative routes were presented, each displaying different levels of Novartis branding while staying true to the core Novartis brand guidelines.

On approval of the chosen creative route, Mobas then supervised its roll-out ready for the trade show launch. Assets included the exhibition stand, sales detailer, pet owner booklets, promotional packs and, last but not least, a fully integrated website.

Results

The trade show launch was a huge success, with an initial product uptake far greater than initially anticipated. The brand itself was well received, both internally and externally, and roll-out is set to continue into the new year.
