Greene King approached Mobas with the brief for a website to accompany the roll-out of a new range of ales created in partnership with Tesco called the Metropolitan Brewing Co. These beers are aimed at a young, modern audience and a suitably designed microsite was required to advertise the four beers and the brewing process, and recommend food dishes to accompany them.
Mobas suggested building this site using Bolt CMS as it suited the size, functionality and timescales of the project. The objective was to support the roll-out of the beers and present them in a concise but visually interesting way. With a modern audience in mind, Mobas created a responsive design to work across desktop, tablet and mobile without sacrificing the integrity of the design or function. Greene King provided images of the processes and people involved with the production of the beers, which we used as a theme throughout the site. Using a parallax scrolling function with a mixture of black and white and full-colour images created an interesting and varied visual impact, giving the site a tactile quality. The contact form sitting in the footer of every page gathers feedback and data from the people using the site and provides Greene King with valuable customer information.
Mobas created the microsite in line with the Metropolitan Brewing Co. brand guidelines and pushed the site live in conjunction with the launch of the range of beers. Google Analytics code was placed on the site and MobasIgnite continue to track and report on the progress of the website. This is just one of many sites that MobasIgnite has created for, and in partnership with, the digital team at Greene King and a great example of a Bolt build.
