Digital marketing support

The challenge is a brand new online booking concept in budget motor home hire. Mobas was tasked with brand creation, brand strategy, design and build of the new website, and provision of digital marketing support.

As an online booking facility, the challenge for the website was: how do we convert lookers into bookers? Content strategy and user experience for the site were also key.

Our approach

Using insights gleaned from its brand strategy workshop, Mobas had a clear understanding of the client’s business objectives, the marketplace and the different types of customers. A further scoping workshop was used to discuss ideas for the information architecture and content plan.

Idealised user journeys through the website, based on analysis of each customer type, were used to inform the design process. With a deep understanding of these customer groups, Mobas was able to create relevant content that engaged visitors, gained their trust and ultimately increased the conversion rate.

The result

The new website features social media integration, video and a comprehensive range of content, from vehicle specifications and depot location information to offers and customer testimonials. An intuitive stepped booking process enables customers to specify their requirements then returns an instant quote, with secure e-commerce integration for online booking.

Recent analysis shows that enjoys high booking conversion rates, numerous page views and good average visit times.
