As a highly regarded legal services business with offices in Cambridge, London and Singapore, Taylor Vinters required a branded lifestyle publication to engage with its audience on a global level – while establishing firm-wide positioning and synchronising with brand strategy. Mobas was appointed to create a premium product that would generate brand awareness, raise professional profile and communicate all service lines in an informative and informal manner. The magazine would work to meet these objectives and increase connectivity with clients, influencers and stakeholders. It also needed to promote specific campaigns around Technology, Food, Agriculture & Estates, Business Professionals (Boutique Private Clients), Property International Education, OMBs and International.
Mobas undertook management of the publication – from conception to distribution, design identity to editorial style. Mobas worked closely with the Taylor Vinters’ marketing team to integrate ideas for a diverse range of lively articles written to appeal to the target readership, breaking new ground in terms of professional approach and far removed from the traditional ‘law-firm newsletter’. The magazine’s contemporary design mirrors the firm’s forward-thinking ethos with thought-leadership articles from Taylor Vinters’ experts. This not only provides a professional platform that subtly links to marketing strategy, but also raises internal interaction and participation.
The inaugural issue of The Verdict magazine was launched as a 48 page, content-rich publication, packed full of features encompassing a diversity of subjects including: beetroot as a superfood; social media; iconic London buildings; the Olympics, news from Singapore, and the work-life balance changes during the Queen’s reign. The Verdict is a compelling read, visually captivating and has proven to be an effective marketing vehicle for the brand to communicate with clients, perspective clients and top decision makers.
