Mobas has been appointed by Conference Cambridge following a competitive pitch against four London-based agencies.
The initial brief is to design and develop a new website for Conference Cambridge, which offers a free service for people looking to book a conference at Cambridge University or one of the City’s colleges. Longer term, the team will support and provide strategic advice to Conference Cambridge in its drive to streamline internal processes. This will include a range of services from website development, looking at user experience, improving conversion rates and integrating website enquiries with a new venue management software system (Event).
Mobas was selected on the strength of its proposal and pitch, but also its wealth of experience in developing complex integrations with business critical infrastructures. The digital specialists work with many clients operating in the meetings and events sector, including the Accor Hotel group, Greene King and a leading motorhome rental company.
Peter Chaloner, Joint Managing Director of Mobas, said: “This is a great win for us and we’re so pleased to have been appointed by Conference Cambridge, which has such a great and established reputation. We have a huge amount of expertise in developing websites that improve sales and user experience and can’t wait to get started.”
Kelly Vickers, Director of Conference Cambridge, said: “The team at Mobas impressed us from the outset, offering exactly the right skills and expertise that we need to create a website that delivers on business objectives. We’re really looking forward to seeing the results.”
