SPRING GROWTH AT MOBAS
Mobas welcomes two new recruits at one of the fastest growing integrated creative agencies in the Cambridgeshire region
Darren Johnson has been appointed as a designer in a permanent position having worked for the agency on a freelance basis since 2009. His role will be to continue to develop the agency’s artwork and creative designs for print. Darren, who originally trained as a technical illustrator, began his career working in the healthcare and educational sectors illustrating promotional material and examination papers. He moved into the design and artwork sector in 2000 and has been an established designer for 15 years. Darren comments, “I’m looking forward to working for a fast-paced, highly respected design agency with a broad client base working on a variety of projects. I will be pushing the boundaries of my design skills whilst maintaining a high level of creativity and accuracy”.
Leo Davie has been appointed as Account Executive at Mobas working with the team on the Greene King and Novartis accounts, as well as liaising with clients and briefing studio work. Leo recently moved to Cambridge from Leeds where he worked for a digital agency as a copywriter and marketing executive. He has five years’ SEO experience and has dealt with a range of clients ranging from local businesses through to international companies. Leo says, “Working as a Mobas account executive is a challenge I will relish. Whilst I’m used to working in an agency, I’ve come from the digital environment and so I’m looking forward to working on all types of branding and print media, managing my clients’ needs and seeing projects through to completion. Having seen the calibre of Mobas’ clients, it’s an opportunity that’s too good to miss; working with household names is something that appeals immensely”.
