Digital Account Manager

After starting his career as a copywriter, Adam discovered SEO and never looked back. Now he leads a life of swashbuckling adventure in the digital space - bringing his concept of integrated content and marketing to life through guides, tutorials and search engine optimisation. But despite being an expert in all things SEO, Adam truly obsesses over the user experience. Over the years he has run linking building campaigns for the UK's largest retailers, optimised enormous ecommerce websites and masterminded countless cross channel strategies to get 'all guns firing'. In his spare time, Adam is also a successful blogger with over 10,000 Facebook followers for his happy hobby blog, which ranks rather well in Google.

Head of PR and Content

Having cut his PR teeth working in the fast-paced world of technology PR, Adam has extensive experience managing the global public relations functions at international organisations spanning corporate, education, technology and lifestyle sectors. Well on the way to clocking up ten years in PR, Adam's experience covers an eclectic mix of traditional and non-traditional PR for global big-hitters in their respective fields. From organising product launches in medieval castles to developing global PR campaigns around the Fifa World Cup, Adam has a keen eye for a story and is passionate about the evolving role of PR in a digital age. In addition to the day job heading up the PR team at Mobas, Adam is Chair of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations in the East of England and the co-founder of PR Hub, a networking group for PR professionals.

Catie portrait

PR Account Executive

After growing up with her nose between the pages of a book, Catie fell in love with the delicate intricacies of language. This led to the pursuit of a BA in English Language and Communications and Literature at the University of Hertfordshire, with a year abroad at the University of Western Sydney. After graduating with First Class (Hons) in 2014, she began volunteering for Wood Green, The Animals Charity, as part of her dedication to animals (especially dogs!). Whilst completing her MA in Journalism and Media Communications - and graduating with Distinction - Catie joined Mobas in 2016 to mould her academic and volunteering experience into a career in PR. Usually found amidst a pile of biscuit wrappers, Catie aspires to use her vegan powers to rid the world of poorly written content and weak campaigns.

PR Account Manager

A motivated individual with a strong background in communications, Charlie graduated with an MA (Hons) in Theology and Philosophy from Edinburgh. After trying her hand at marketing and teaching, she found her passion in community relations and PR. Charlie joined Mobas in 2013 and has played an integral role in developing many successful campaigns, with a focus on media relations that deliver national print and TV coverage. Working closely with clients, Charlie ensures objectives are met and expectations exceeded. She particularly enjoys media liaison, feature and blog writing, video creation, social media and organising events, and works on a variety of accounts across property, charity and not-for-profit, healthcare, environment, insurance and finance. Charlie has a long-standing love of gin and a new-found enthusiasm for running.

Clive portrait

Words. Clive eats, sleeps and breathes them, whether delivering them on a stage, slotting them into a fiendish crossword grid - or crafting them into beautifully considered copy. He stops just short of taking a red marker to incorrect shop signage, but is strongly in favour of some sort of on-the-spot fine system for punctuation crime. A linguist by education, Clive is responsible for all copy at Mobas: writing original copy, both straight and creative; editing and styling supplied copy; and proofing all output for artwork. As one of our lead creatives, he works closely with design colleagues to conceive new campaigns and all other creative projects.

Brand Strategist

With over 20 years’ experience in creative and marketing agencies, Dale’s career as a copywriter, creative director and strategist has encompassed the full media spectrum of TV, radio, press, print, digital, outdoor and direct. At Mobas, he’s combining his creative and strategic understanding to help define brand essences – as well as shaping compelling strategies and campaigns – for our clients. Dale has a wealth of experience across a number of sectors, including FMCG, retail, finance, sport, agriculture, technology, professional services and education. And he’s worked with many household-name brands, from Bacardi, Harpic and Shredded Wheat to Titleist, ADT and Araldite.

Ellen portrait

Account Manager

Shortly after graduating from the University of Portsmouth with a degree in Media Studies, Ellen started her career in the marketing industry working with clients across the science and technology field. Ellen is a determined, enthusiastic and eager individual who has a passion for working as part of her clients’ teams and establishing long-term relationships. Away from the office, she likes to keep herself busy assisting at a local kart track, training for sporting events, and obsessing over dachshunds and French bulldogs.

Senior Designer, Studio Manager

After graduating in advertising and media, Ellie decided to pack her bags and leave the Norfolk countryside for a future in graphic design. She began working in publishing then moved to a creative agency in Cambridge. Working on a varied client base from small local companies to international fashion brands, Ellie decided to take her experience and begin freelancing. At Mobas, Ellie soon became a permanent fixture. Her passion lies in ensuring that good, strong, creative concepts and designs can run through the studio in a positive and efficient manner. When not at work you can find her, or hear her, at local football matches or out with her friends.

With extensive experienced in innovation development, project initiation, project management and delivery of complex web-based digital initiatives, in the charity and government sectors, Jon prides himself on his ability to wear many hats, often at the same time. Jon is equally confident in the role of Scrum Master, Digital Analyst, and Digital Project Manager; he has also been known to don a cycle helmet and ride into work. When not tied to his desk in the office, Jon is passionate about the natural environment, climate change (having previously worked at the Woodland Trust and being a board member of a local environmental charity) and secretly enjoys hugging ancient trees.

Katie portrait

Senior Account Manager

Having a dad who runs a creative agency, Katie was probably always destined for a career in advertising and marketing. She cut her teeth on the busy London agency scene, working for clients such as Cadbury, Sky and Samsung, to name but a few. But after moving to Cambridge in 2016, she hasn’t looked back. She loves the buzz of working on a truly integrated campaign across different media and getting to know the ins and outs of her clients’ worlds. Katie is half Devonian and half Geordie, so you could say she’s half ‘southern softie’ and half ‘northern steel’. When not at work you’ll most likely find Katie with a glass of red wine in her hand or out for a run, usually not at the same time.

Senior Account Manager

After graduating in 2012 with a Business Management degree, Lorna spent a couple of years understanding agency life in a smaller company before moving to Mobas. Her experience in marketing has been built on both the client and agency sides, covering industries including technology, education, property and financial services. Working at IBM and with smaller clients in previous roles, she understands the challenges faced by both large corporations and SMEs. Away from the office, you can usually find her at a sporting or music event, catching up with friends or planning her next trip away!

Moving from a smaller web agency, he's enjoying being part of a larger development team, discussing and debating solutions with his colleagues. Working for many years in all areas of website development, he has accrued a broad understanding of web technologies. Mark brings a logical mindset and enjoys getting his mind stuck into a good coding challenge. At Mobas Mark specialises in back-end website development, but can also turn his hand to front-end. He looks to deliver well-built, client-friendly solutions.

Before this she was a journalist and copywriter for a variety of major business publishers in the FMCG, hospitality and travel sectors, as well as the regional daily paper The Argus. More recently she's worked with clients in agriculture, animal health, food and drink, professional services, travel and tech.
