Mobas, the Cambridge-based design, branding and advertising agency, has strengthened its team with the appointment of James Wheatcroft as Account Manager.
James has been brought on board to support the wealth of new business won over the past six months, including major accounts such as the Accor Group which includes Novotel hotels.
James, an MA Design and Branding Strategy graduate from Brunel University, has extensive experience delivering client-side and agency-integrated branding, design and advertising campaigns across b2b and b2c.
Prior to joining Mobas, James was an Account Manager at a local Cambridge agency. Previously, James was Corporate Design Manager at Nextgen Sciences and held several design roles both in-house and freelance in the life sciences, FMCG and technology sectors.
Building on his branding experience, James is also a Design Council ‘Design Associate’ and has recently taken part in the pioneering Designing Demand programme at the Oxford Centre for Innovation. The aim of the scheme is to help technology companies realise their potential through design.
“James will be a great asset to the Mobas team,” commented Robin Bryant, Managing Director, Mobas. “James has a unique blend of hands-on design experience and account management and branding expertise that will be a real asset to Mobas.”
