Brand strategy for a Cambridge estate agent

Challenge

We were given the challenge of helping Tucker Gardner gain market share within the highly competitive Cambridgeshire property market. Tucker Gardner had put on hold many marketing aspects of their business during the bubble bursting in the property sector during early 2000’s. We were asked to create a refreshed brand for Tucker Gardner including a brand voice and visual identity.

Strategy

Mobas worked with key stakeholders within the business to completely understand the marketplace, the business internally and externally, the existing clients past, present and new, and the overall business strategy. We assessed the entire marketplace, by speaking to the consumers about the sector, mystery shopping exercises on Tucker Gardner and competitors, focus groups and desktop research, using tried and tested tools.

The project involved the creation of a compelling marketing strategy and a fresh brand identity. Mobas deployed the new brand across advertising, property advertising, brochure ware, all supporting communication materials and office interiors and exteriors and standard business documentation.

Results

The brand refresh and roll-out along with a 12-month Public Relations campaign resulted in a large gain in market share and a perception with the general public and competitors that Tucker Gardner are the market leader and agency of choice. 12 months after the brand re-launch Tucker Gardner saw an increase in revenue.
