Colour and community bring ACE to life

Challenge

Flip that around. What’s the biggest challenge for busy parents? Keeping children clean, fed and entertained as well as staying on top of work, household chores and everything else life throws at them. Since December 2016, it’s been our job to give mums and dads a break, reminding them through social media, PR and advertising to ACE life with the global cleaning brand, ACE.
 

Approach

Life… ACE it! There’s beauty in simplicity, but skill in execution. This ongoing campaign, accompanied by the strapline ‘Remove the stains, keep the memories’, is a reminder that no matter what mess you have to deal with, you can ACE it – both literally with a bottle of the product, and figuratively with a positive attitude.

Delivery

The #ACEit campaign has been rolled out across all activity, from colourful social media advertising campaigns to collaborating with mummy bloggers and social influencers on reviews and ‘honest baby milestone cards’. Blog content brings ACE to life (recipes, stain removal advice, messy play ideas, cleaning tips, family activities) while regular media coverage, a Christmas mailer to prominent journalists and the appointment of a brand ambassador ensure we’re building a community around the ACE brand.
 

Outcome

We’ve reached more than 7 million social media users, receiving almost half a million engagements. With over 100 pieces of coverage achieved in national publications including The Sunday Times, The Grocer, Good Housekeeping and Mumsnet, it’s safe to say we’ve cleaned up. Marketing… #ACEit!
