The initial discovery project with CrowdCat identified the key motivations and decision-making processes of scientists in choosing where to publish their work and identified an effective engagement framework which led to over 5,000 scientists participating in the gamified digital experiences developed by CrowdCat.

This engagement provided a wealth of data and evidence of the success of the use of SCP in understanding the worlds of scientists and engaging with them in a way that truly resonates.

Whilst ROI information remains confidential, CrowdCat and Springer Nature are now working together in a long-term partnership.
