Mobas are proud to have worked with Greene King on many of their existing brands and were delighted when the national beverage brand asked them to create a responsive web solution for a brand new pub concept.
Focusing on an audience with a passion for real craft ales and live entertainment, Greene King were keen for the new digital solution to promote engagement and reflect the social atmosphere of a traditional British pub online.
Greene King provided our creative team with guidelines created for the new brand but also allowed for some freedom in the design of the new website visuals. Once visual concepts had quickly been approved, Mobas set about developing a platform on which the new pub (and its customers) could communicate and engage with the brand. Integrated Facebook, Twitter and Instagram feeds promoted social interaction and a What’s On section gave the pub managers the opportunity to give information about upcoming events.
Mobas launched the new website to coincide with the grand opening of a newly renovated pub, both of which were received well by the interested public attending launch events in the first week of business. The refreshed look and feel of the pub is reflected in the stunning imagery featured on the website, and initial figures show that this has been a very successful venture for both Greene King and Mobas. Talk of launching more pubs in this style have already begun… watch this space.
