Inside knowledge to benefit Mobas clients

Mobas’ strategy team has been boosted by the arrival of Sarah Coates as our new Brand and Marketing Strategist.

Sarah is a consummate marketing professional with 25 years of key experience under her belt. She’s passionate about client-centric marketing and believes strongly in understanding the complete customer journey to tailor marketing campaigns and drive real business results.

Sarah has worked in a number of sectors including life sciences, publishing, charity and education, as well as providing freelance marketing consultant services while completing her Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing.

Shelby Haslam, Mobas’ Director of Strategy, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have Sarah on board. With excellent experience as an in-house Marketing Director, she knows how to deliver corporate change programmes from the inside: tackling fundamental business issues and representing marketing at board level. She brings that experience to Mobas, enabling us to dovetail our wide experience of delivering brand transformation with a deeper understanding of the client journey”.

Sarah is delighted to be joining Mobas. She said: “Not only do I get to work alongside some brilliant creative and strategic minds, but also I get to work with a wonderful mix of clients from different sectors. I’ve been aware of Mobas for some time and so it’s great to now be part of the team and its unique and special culture that drives innovation and transformation for clients”.

As we approach World Cup year in 2026, the branding, ball and other assets have now been released so we are starting to get a feel for how it will look.

But, it’s not just the visuals of the branding and sponsors which shape how the tournament feels, but also the kits.

This time, as expected, the majority of kits will be Adidas or Nike manufactured, with a few others in the mix. But I want to spend some time focusing on Adidas.

They’ve made a subtle change to their template, which I expect to start seeing across all of their club kits too in the 26/27 season. It’s so subtle you may not notice, or you may notice a difference but not be able to put your finger on it.
In fact, it’s a change that I’m surprised hasn’t happened sooner.

If this sparked a rethink with your brand, imagine what we could achieve together.
