Project overview
Pinney Talfourd partnered with Mobas to modernise and refine its visual identity while refreshing its website design. The objective was to create a brand experience that better reflected the firm’s ethos of “clients for life”.
The project focused on strengthening emotional connection with clients, improving consistency across digital and print communications, and creating a more contemporary expression of the brand. By aligning strategy, creative and digital, the result was a refined identity built to support both present needs and future growth.
Defining the challenge
Operating in a highly competitive legal services market, Pinney Talfourd needed to evolve its brand without losing the trust and credibility it’s built over many years.
The existing identity no longer fully reflected the warmth, professionalism and long-term relationships at the heart of the firm. The challenge was to modernise the experience while ensuring the brand continued to feel approachable, reassuring and personal to clients at every stage of life.
At the same time, the website needed to work harder as a client engagement tool, with clearer navigation, improved service visibility and a more intuitive user journey for both private and business audiences.
Strategy and solution
The approach focused on evolution rather than reinvention. Through strategic review and collaborative workshops, we clarified how the “clients for life” proposition should be expressed visually, verbally and digitally.
The refreshed visual identity introduced a cleaner and more cohesive design system, capable of flexing consistently across multiple touchpoints. Typography, layout and supporting brand elements were refined to create a more contemporary feel while maintaining professionalism and trust.
Alongside the identity work, the website was redesigned to improve usability and engagement. Navigation was simplified, services were categorised more clearly and calls to action were strengthened to guide users more effectively through the journey.
Design decisions throughout the project balanced warmth with expertise, ensuring the experience felt both credible and human.
