Mobas appointed by Tipton & Coseley Building Society to support business transformation

We’re delighted to announce that Mobas has been appointed by the Tipton & Coseley Building Society as its strategic brand and marketing partner.

The Tipton is looking towards its next phase of growth and development, with a multi-year transformation programme underway to expand digital services, enhance operational systems and create better retail and working environments.

Mobas will work closely with the Society to help strengthen its market position and deliver better customer experiences, particularly for those who prefer to manage their money online.

Robin Bryant, Founder of Mobas, commented:

“We’re incredibly proud to have been appointed by Tipton Building Society. Throughout the selection process, it was clear that the Society has a genuine ambition to continue evolving while remaining true to its mutual values and strong customer focus. We look forward to working in partnership with the team and supporting them as they continue their exciting journey.”

Founded in 1901 in the West Midlands, the Tipton is an independent building society helping customers achieve their most important financial goals. It has five regional high street branches, alongside a mobile app and telephone and postal services for national reach.

Jason Newsway, Chief Commercial Officer at the Tipton & Coseley Building Society, said:

“Access to local branches remains incredibly important for our customers and the communities we serve. However, we also recognise the need to keep developing so we can meet changing expectations and support long-term growth. This means modernising how customers engage with us digitally and investing in the core systems and capabilities that will help us operate more effectively.

“Our transformation programme is about building on the strengths which have served the Tipton well for more than 125 years and ensuring we remain relevant, resilient and competitive for the future.

“As we move through this next phase, there is an exciting opportunity to improve how we present ourselves to customers and the wider market. From the outset, Mobas showed a clear understanding of our strategy, values and desire to deliver meaningful change in a collaborative way, making them the right partner for us.”

As we approach World Cup year in 2026, the branding, ball and other assets have now been released so we are starting to get a feel for how it will look.

But, it’s not just the visuals of the branding and sponsors which shape how the tournament feels, but also the kits.

This time, as expected, the majority of kits will be Adidas or Nike manufactured, with a few others in the mix. But I want to spend some time focusing on Adidas.

They’ve made a subtle change to their template, which I expect to start seeing across all of their club kits too in the 26/27 season. It’s so subtle you may not notice, or you may notice a difference but not be able to put your finger on it.
In fact, it’s a change that I’m surprised hasn’t happened sooner.

If this sparked a rethink with your brand, imagine what we could achieve together.
