Mobas remembers fallen heroes with Cambridge American Cemetery

Mobas has been appointed by the Cambridge American Cemetery to work in partnership and help remember fallen heroes from World War II.

The ‘Faces of Cambridge’ campaign – putting a face to the names – is designed to recognise those who made the ultimate sacrifice and gave their lives for freedom. Connecting with a younger audience we encourage them to visit the Cemetery at Coton for the weekend event (27-28 May) which marks the 75th Anniversary of the arrival of US troops in the East of England. The usual Memorial Day ceremony will be held on 29 May.

To-date there are over 3,600 pictures of the young American men and women who died and were either buried at the American Cemetery or commemorated on the Wall of the Missing, far from home. They were all part of that ‘Friendly Invasion’ of Britain during World War II.

Joint Managing Director, Robin Bryant, said: “We’re honoured to have been appointed to help mark this important day and can’t wait to see the campaign out attracting a younger audience. We value the connection with local companies and instantly welcomed the opportunity to work with the Cambridge American Cemetery”.

As we approach World Cup year in 2026, the branding, ball and other assets have now been released so we are starting to get a feel for how it will look.

But, it’s not just the visuals of the branding and sponsors which shape how the tournament feels, but also the kits.

This time, as expected, the majority of kits will be Adidas or Nike manufactured, with a few others in the mix. But I want to spend some time focusing on Adidas.

They’ve made a subtle change to their template, which I expect to start seeing across all of their club kits too in the 26/27 season. It’s so subtle you may not notice, or you may notice a difference but not be able to put your finger on it.
In fact, it’s a change that I’m surprised hasn’t happened sooner.

If this sparked a rethink with your brand, imagine what we could achieve together.
