ILUX appoint Mobas for strategic brand transformation

IT consultancy ILUX has appointed Mobas to provide strategic brand and marketing support. The Cambridgeshire-based firm, which provides consultancy services and technological support to some of the UK’s leading companies, has sought the support of Mobas to help grow its customer base and reach new audiences as the business goes from strength to strength.

Speaking about the partnership with Mobas, ILUX’s founder and Managing Director James Tilbury commented: “The level of responsiveness and care, together with the analysis and strategy that is now forming reaffirms the choice to go with Mobas was the right one. We have gone from uncertainty to clarity and cannot wait to kick off this year’s marketing activities.”

Since its launch in 2008, ILUX has built an enviable client base largely through word of mouth, recommendation and clients maintaining their relationships as they move jobs.

James continued, “Marketing has been low key and focused on creating the tools needed to engage target audiences. Today there is an appetite for more rapid and structured growth of the kind that will transform the business, and Mobas will be playing a key role in helping us to exploit this opportunity to the full.”

As we approach World Cup year in 2026, the branding, ball and other assets have now been released so we are starting to get a feel for how it will look.

But, it’s not just the visuals of the branding and sponsors which shape how the tournament feels, but also the kits.

This time, as expected, the majority of kits will be Adidas or Nike manufactured, with a few others in the mix. But I want to spend some time focusing on Adidas.

They’ve made a subtle change to their template, which I expect to start seeing across all of their club kits too in the 26/27 season. It’s so subtle you may not notice, or you may notice a difference but not be able to put your finger on it.
In fact, it’s a change that I’m surprised hasn’t happened sooner.

If this sparked a rethink with your brand, imagine what we could achieve together.
