Mobas invites you to Meet Cambridge

A stunning new brand for Meet Cambridge, formerly Conference Cambridge, is fresh out of the Mobas creative studio.

Following an extensive review, the Cambridge-based strategic marketing agency has shaped a new look and feel for Meet Cambridge, complete with a new name, website and market positioning.

These new developments include a formal partnership with Visit Cambridge and Beyond, the historic city’s official tourist service, as well as a broader remit to incorporate a wider range of events and venues.

Kelly Vickers, Director of Meet Cambridge, says: “The creative and strategic input from Mobas has revolutionised the company. The new brand is refreshingly bright and simple, reflecting our vibrant yet straightforward approach.

“Growing from our academic roots, Meet Cambridge is to be a single point of contact for event organisers not just in the area, but all over the globe. The elegant new website enables a streamlined user experience, allowing us to deliver exceptional experiences in Cambridge to meet the specific needs and objectives for each and every event.”

Robin Bryant, Joint-Managing Director of Mobas, said: “Meet Cambridge is committed to maintaining the flourishing tourism and business industries in Cambridge, a city that we also call home.

“This transparent commitment makes our business partnership so much easier and more enjoyable. The new brand and website are now live but the digital content is ongoing, and we will be on board with any future projects that Kelly has in mind.”

As we approach World Cup year in 2026, the branding, ball and other assets have now been released so we are starting to get a feel for how it will look.

But, it’s not just the visuals of the branding and sponsors which shape how the tournament feels, but also the kits.

This time, as expected, the majority of kits will be Adidas or Nike manufactured, with a few others in the mix. But I want to spend some time focusing on Adidas.

They’ve made a subtle change to their template, which I expect to start seeing across all of their club kits too in the 26/27 season. It’s so subtle you may not notice, or you may notice a difference but not be able to put your finger on it.
In fact, it’s a change that I’m surprised hasn’t happened sooner.

If this sparked a rethink with your brand, imagine what we could achieve together.
