PR members to represent the Chartered Institute of Public Relations

Two members of the Mobas PR team have been elected to represent the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) in East Anglia.

Amanda was elected as CIPR Pride Awards coordinator. Having spent the last three years’ as the Committee’s joint-chair, alongside Mobas colleague Adam Tuckwell, Amanda will organise this year’s regional PR awards for practitioners across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk and Thames and Chiltern regions. The awards, currently open for entries, recognise the outstanding work this region’s PR practitioners have been delivering for their clients and employers.

Catie has served on the committee for the past 12 months. She will act as one of two Digital Coordinators, managing CIPR East Anglia’s social media channels to connect with and encourage local practitioners to become members and access benefits such as CPD material, awards, training events and networking opportunities as well as CIPR schemes like GiveBack and iProvision.

Peter Chaloner, Joint Managing Director at Mobas, said: "As an agency we are committed to personal development and championing the marketing and communications sectors. The CIPR does an excellent job representing PR practitioners in the UK and I am really proud that Mobas colleagues continue to serve on the CIPR Committee to support professional development within East Anglia and further afield."

Amanda and Catie will serve the committee until the end of 2019. More information can be found on the CIPR's regional website: https://ciprea.org/
