Surround yourself with people who will challenge you

These are testing times for business leaders. We’ve heard that phrase so much since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, but what can business leaders actually do to sure up their businesses and focus on the future? It’s time for leaders to reflect on the opportunities ahead and to move forward. Doing this effectively might mean a shake up in the boardroom. According to Haydn Mursell, an experienced CEO & CFO and business advisor, now is the time to surround yourself with people who will challenge your thinking.

To help business leaders to navigate their businesses during challenging times, Mobas has launched a new podcast series called Transforming Minds. In this episode, Mobas’ Head of Brand Strategy and Insight Katie Vickery interviews experienced Chief Executive, Haydn Mursell. In this engaging conversation, Katie picks Haydn’s opinions on whether certain businesses are better placed than others to grow out of this current time of crisis.

You can listen to the podcast in full below or access each new episode in the series on Apple or Spotify.

As we approach World Cup year in 2026, the branding, ball and other assets have now been released so we are starting to get a feel for how it will look.

But, it’s not just the visuals of the branding and sponsors which shape how the tournament feels, but also the kits.

This time, as expected, the majority of kits will be Adidas or Nike manufactured, with a few others in the mix. But I want to spend some time focusing on Adidas.

They’ve made a subtle change to their template, which I expect to start seeing across all of their club kits too in the 26/27 season. It’s so subtle you may not notice, or you may notice a difference but not be able to put your finger on it.
In fact, it’s a change that I’m surprised hasn’t happened sooner.

If this sparked a rethink with your brand, imagine what we could achieve together.
