Mobas and Vindis qualify in style

Brand transformation agency Mobas’ work for Vindis Motor Group has been shortlisted for Best Use of Social Media in the annual Motor Trader Awards.

The Motor Trader Industry Awards are widely viewed as the industry’s Oscars, celebrating all that is best in modern motor retailing. They pay tribute to companies and individuals who are able to demonstrate excellence in their field, exceptional customer service and true innovation, individuals and companies that stand out from the crowd.

Mobas’ partnership with Vindis began in 2017 when Vindis approached Mobas to accelerate its social media marketing activity. Our joint work was recognised in 2018 when the pair won the Chartered Institute of Public Relations award for Best Use of Social Media. Having delivered an award-winning social campaign, Vindis expanded Mobas’ brief to include regional PR in addition to social media marketing and the partnership has gone from strength to strength.

The winners in 2019 will be announced at the Motor Trader Awards dinner, the biggest night in the retail motor industry calendar, which is being held this year at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on 10 July, 2019 before an audience of 1,100.

Robin Bryant, Joint MD and Founder of Mobas, said ‘We’re so pleased to have been shortlisted for these awards and are keen to demonstrate to the judges why our work is worthy of taking the top spot. These awards are judged by distinguished professionals from the motor trade and we couldn’t be happier that they’ve selected Mobas and Vindis for their social media shortlist.”

As we approach World Cup year in 2026, the branding, ball and other assets have now been released so we are starting to get a feel for how it will look.

But, it’s not just the visuals of the branding and sponsors which shape how the tournament feels, but also the kits.

This time, as expected, the majority of kits will be Adidas or Nike manufactured, with a few others in the mix. But I want to spend some time focusing on Adidas.

They’ve made a subtle change to their template, which I expect to start seeing across all of their club kits too in the 26/27 season. It’s so subtle you may not notice, or you may notice a difference but not be able to put your finger on it.
In fact, it’s a change that I’m surprised hasn’t happened sooner.

If this sparked a rethink with your brand, imagine what we could achieve together.
