Looking ahead to a year of growth and gratitude

As 2024 draws to a close, it’s a great moment to reflect on what has been a year of positive growth and solid performance for us at Mobas.

We’ve had the privilege of working with some fantastic clients – both long-standing partners and exciting new ones – delivering audience fuelled campaigns, websites and brands that genuinely deliver results.

Our exceptional people make all the difference

None of this would have been possible without the incredible talent, dedication, and creativity of our colleagues and team. Their hard work has not only driven exceptional outcomes but also earned recognition through award-winning work, something we’re hugely proud of.

As an agency owner and joint MD, I’ve come to accept that uncertainty is a constant companion in business. The UK economic landscape has been marked by uncertainty.

The ‘pause’ in business confidence brought on by the election cycle, financial pressures from the budget, and the deeply saddening conflicts around the world have all had a knock-on effect on growth. Confidence remains fragile, and the impact on businesses and individuals alike is clear.

Whether it’s market shifts, economic wobbles, or changing client priorities, the landscape is rarely steady.

And yet, as I reflect on the past year, Mobas Group has stayed resilient. We’ve seen a solid performance across the year, fuelled by strong partnerships, an influx of new clients, and a team that continues to go above and beyond.

As we step into 2025, the stage is set for continued success, driven by the brilliant work of our team, the trust of our clients, and the addition of some big-hitting talent ready to help us achieve even more in 2025.

Looking forward with optimism

The coming year may bring more uncertainty. That’s the nature of business. But if we’ve learned anything, it’s that agility, curiosity, and collaboration make for a winning formula, no matter the circumstances.

It’s easy to get caught up in the noise – the headlines, the forecasts, the worry. But here we are, closing out what was predicted to be a challenging year with pride in what we’ve achieved, excitement for what’s ahead, and gratitude for the people who made it possible.

For my fellow business leaders out there, my advice is simple: take time to pause. Relax with your families, reflect on the year that’s been, and give yourself a well-deserved pat on the back for navigating another challenging year. Then, as we all start turning our attention to 2025, let’s focus on positivity and growth.

To our team, our clients, and our partners – thank you for making this year one to remember. The road wasn’t always smooth, but we moved forward, together.

Here’s to even bigger wins, bolder ideas, and a brighter year ahead, all fuelled by audience insights.

Here’s to a successful, fulfilling, a prosperous year ahead, and a heartfelt thank you to everyone that’s part of the Mobas journey.

Let’s get to work.

As we approach World Cup year in 2026, the branding, ball and other assets have now been released so we are starting to get a feel for how it will look.

But, it’s not just the visuals of the branding and sponsors which shape how the tournament feels, but also the kits.

This time, as expected, the majority of kits will be Adidas or Nike manufactured, with a few others in the mix. But I want to spend some time focusing on Adidas.

They’ve made a subtle change to their template, which I expect to start seeing across all of their club kits too in the 26/27 season. It’s so subtle you may not notice, or you may notice a difference but not be able to put your finger on it.
In fact, it’s a change that I’m surprised hasn’t happened sooner.

If this sparked a rethink with your brand, imagine what we could achieve together.
