Our client Greene King briefed us to design and develop a new website for their Brewing & Brands business. Using our user-centred approach to project definition and scoping, we assessed the needs of their typical prospects and customers. Our Discovery phase focused on key user stories for specific types of audiences. From this we scoped the need for number of value add tools to support their audience’s needs of managing and running a pub.
The Greene King ‘Here to Help’ website was to act as a one-stop shop for all information that may be of use to their free trade customers, potential customers and staff.
Our Mobas-developed responsive website, allowed off-trade customers to access the site while on the move. Due to the sensitive and confidential nature of the website, all content was restricted to being accessible via a single sign-on. This involved systems integration with their Connect database.
Before we launched the website, we hosted training workshops to enable internal teams to manage the back office environment and update content. Our system enabled our client to promote specific products and services to distinct customer segments with the objective of upselling and marketing new innovations within the hospitality sector.
In the first three months post go-live, the site had 1,238 registered customers and the average session duration is 7.5 minutes, showing high levels of engagement with onsite content.
