Display advertising

If you’ve been shopping online, advertisements with the products that you looked at but didn’t buy will often follow you around the web, appearing in banners on a variety of websites – retargeting you with display advertising.

Display advertising is a great way of increasing brand awareness – although the frequency in which it appears to users can be limited to prevent hounding a potential lead. And the users they retarget can be filtered by age, gender and location to ensure a better return on investment. Users can also be targeted via on-page keywords for brand awareness, so that when a specific trigger word is used on website content it triggers a banner ad.

Standard paid display advertising is also available, charged at a cost per number of impressions on an industry-specific website. While this is more industry-targeted and intended to drive fresh leads to a client’s website, it has a far higher cost per acquisition.
