Mobas were appointed to help the team to launch the game, successfully complete a Kickstarter funding campaign and raise the profile of the company in an increasingly competitive marketplace in the run up to the games official launch.
Working closely with PlayFusion's executive team and in association with PlayFusion's partners TOMY, Mobas devised a targeted and heavy-hitting media campaign to unveil the game before launch. This included managing a demonstration campaign and raising the profile of the business through using the CEO as a spokesperson in order to position PlayFusion as a truly pioneering business.
This overarching strategy was supported by a number of micro-campaigns focusing on key milestone announcements, completion of the Kickstarter campaign and the launch of a trading card game.
During the initial six months of the campaign, Lightseekers and PlayFusion featured in more than 200 articles across national and international publications. Coverage was secured across the globe, helping the company to successfully beat their Kickstarter target and drive downloads of the game at launch.
